Why are you happening so early this year?!?
Thanksgiving you are a sneaky beast.
You hide amongst the Christmas decorations in the stores,
But – I have still noticed – you are arriving at the earliest possible moment,
And you find me woefully unprepared.
No construction paper thankful tree posted to my wall.
No grocery list made.
No holiday dessert recipes dug out of the recipe box.
The pilgrim scene on my hutch has not been played with enough.
The Awesome Book of Thanks has only been read once.
I like you better when you fall on the last Thursday of the month.
Move to Canada. We get Thanksgiving over with in early October when there’s not much else happening.
Not a bad plan really, I don’t even mind all of your snow.
early thanksgiving means an extra week of christmastime… and lyndsay is trying to get everyone to move to canada. =)
